Banks approve or reject payments with almost no context. We're building the intelligence layer that changes that — running real-time investigations on payments before they clear so scams get intercepted and genuine payments flow. The technical challenge is to keep this system running and healthy 24/7/365, while helping build the internal platform that lets a fast-moving engineering team ship with confidence.
We're a small team shipping to large banks. Enterprise resilience and startup velocity — that tension is real and it’s not going away. To compound it further, our production systems are increasingly powered by AI agents that are non-deterministic by nature. Traditional monitoring and alerting isn't enough when correct behaviour isn't always the same twice. You'll need to use (or invent!) cutting-edge approaches to observability for systems that don't behave like conventional software. This is frontier work, and there's no textbook answer.
This is not a "keep the lights on" role. You'll be defining what good looks like for Platform and have real ownership over how infrastructure culture develops here.
